The tester is far superior to all national and international standards regarding Melt Flow Rates, such as ISO1133, ASTM D1238, and GB/T 3682 method A & B.
Application
With this type of Melt Flow Indexer, you can test the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of a wide variety of thermoplastic raw materials, such as granules or strips of film. Testing thermoplastics with this method is particularly useful for quality control.
The MVR will be particularly useful when comparing thermoplastics with varying filler contents, or when comparing filled with unfilled thermoplastics.
The MFR can be determined from MVR measurements provided the melt density at the test temperature and pressure is known.
High Accuracy
The built-in microprocessor maintains temperature control to within ± 0.5℃, with rapid ram-up to the set point.
A built-in scraper mechanism automatically cuts off extruded material at preset intervals, controlled to 0.1 seconds.

Features
1. The MVR test method allows the determination of the MVR value of a sample over a specified period of time, and the MFR value can be determined after weighing the sample. Also, the melt density can be calculated.
2. Using a 7" color touch screen, as well as computer software, you can control the MFI device.
3. The application software has the functions of parameter setting, constant temperature control, cutting, calibration, timing, display of MFR and MVR results, calculation of melt density, and query and export of test data.
4. Some important operations require password verification in order to prevent misuse.
5. Fast heating rate, small overshoot, high constant temperature accuracy, quickly restore the constant test temperature. With upper limit temperature protection, constant temperature voice prompt, restore time voice prompt.
