Application
Charpy pendulum impact test is used to conduct resilience tests on rigid plastic materials in order to determine their impact fragility characteristics under standard stress conditions. The test method conforms to ISO 179 - Part 1 (non-instrumented impact test).
Izod method is used to investigate the behavior of specified types of specimen under impact conditions defined and for estimating the brittleness or toughness of specimens within the limitations inherent in the test conditions.

10” full-color touch screen for quick & easy input of specimen parameters, automatic calculation impact strength as well as test data storage.
Equipped with a USB interface, which can directly export the data through the USB stick, and import to PC for editing and printing the test report.
High mass, traditional pendulum design concentrates energy at the impact point with minimal energy loss due to vibration.
Multiple impact energies can be generated by one pendulum.
The electrics contain a high-resolution encoder for accurate measurement of the impact angel.
Results are automatically corrected for energy loss due to air and mechanical friction.
